Mike Dal Lago, the founder of Dal Lago Law, has more than 22 years of experience providing customized, comprehensive legal business solutions for national, regional and local businesses in Florida, New York and New Jersey. He has consistently been recognized in SuperLawyers® Florida, Florida Trend’s prestigious Legal Elite list, and is an AV Preeminent ® Peer Review Rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell ®, the highest rating an attorney can receive for their professional ethics and legal ability by their peers and judiciary.  Mike is a Board Certified Business Bankruptcy Attorney, one of only 303 attorneys nationwide to become certified.  He is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York and New Jersey.

With broad experience in an array of industries including consumer retail, healthcare and real estate, Mike has represented mid-market clients in some of the largest and most challenging cases in the nation such as Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc., General Motors, Chrysler, Enron Corp., WorldCom, Inc., General Growth Properties, and Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC, to name a few. He employs a holistic multidisciplinary business and legal approach for every stage in the lifecycle of a business – from formation and corporate governance to growth and maintenance. In the unfortunate event of financial distress, Mike offers clients value-added expertise and strategies for navigating corporate restructurings and Chapter 11 bankruptcies. 

Prior to founding his law firm in 2012, Mike was a Corporate Bankruptcy Partner at a Cleveland, Ohio based midsize firm in Naples.  He moved to Naples, Florida from New York City where he began his career working at a prestigious 130+ attorney law firm. He practiced there for 13 years, working his way up the ladder from Associate to Bankruptcy Partner. Mike began his legal career in 1999 as an Associate at a full service Manhattan-based firm that was founded in 1830.  

Mike has been very involved with the Southwest Florida community and professional organizations since moving to Naples. Mike is on the Organizing Committee of the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar and a current Board Member of the Make A Wish Southern Florida Foundation.  He is the former President of the Southwest Florida Bankruptcy Professionals Association, and has served on the Boards of The Village School of Naples and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Suncoast. Mike  was a member of the Leadership Collier Class of 2015 and a volunteer for Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida.  He is also the former president of the Naples Toastmasters Club. 

Mike Dal Lago received his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 1998.  He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.  Mike was born and raised in New Milford, New Jersey.  He currently lives in Naples, Florida with his wife and two sons.

Christian Haman

Mr. Haman is an Associate Attorney at Dal Lago Law.  He assists companies at all stages of their corporate development, primarily representing debtors and creditors as they navigate the complexities of Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  A native of Naples, Florida, Mr. Haman works to ensure Florida fosters a business environment friendly to investors and vendors alike.

Mr. Haman was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2019, and is a member of its Business and Young Lawyers Sections. He serves as the Vice President for the Collier County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section and as the Secretary for the Southwest Florida Bankruptcy Professionals Association. Mr. Haman is also a member of the Collier County Bar Association’s Trial Law Section, American Bankruptcy Institute’s Bankruptcy Litigation, Business Reorganization, and Young and New Members Committees.

Mr. Haman received his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2018.  He is a graduate of Emory University School of Law’s Transactional Law and Skills Certificate program–one of the most celebrated and prestigious experiential learning programs in the United States.  While attending Emory, he honed his legal writing skills as a Judicial Extern with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Mr. Haman earned the privilege of serving as a Managing Editor for the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review, where he received a journal certificate for “Excellence in Legal Scholarship”.  In 2017, he wrote numerous decisions for Administrative Judges while serving as a Summer Judicial Clerk with the United States Merit Systems Protection Board.

Mr. Haman received his Bachelor of Science in Management from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2015.  He is a lifetime member of the Florida Gulf Coast University Alumni Association, and a graduate of its Alumni Leadership Academy.

Jennifer Duffy

Jennifer is an Associate Attorney at Dal Lago Law focusing on bankruptcy and business law.  She works together with her clients to facilitate the formation of a new business and to maintain that business throughout its lifespan. Should the need ever arise, Jennifer will guide clients through the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy process in an effort to reestablish a business’ successful endeavor or assist with liquidation of the business if that is the best option for the client. For individuals in financial distress, Jennifer will work with them to determine the best course of action and, if necessary, assist you in filing the bankruptcy action most favorable for your situation.Jennifer is admitted to practice law in the state of Florida and Delaware. 

Prior to joining Dal Lago, Jennifer was a Judicial Law Clerk in the Delaware Superior Court for Resident Judge Jeffrey J. Clark where she learned to navigate the legal process and honed her legal writing skills. Earlier in her career, she worked as a corporate paralegal for a healthcare company in Pennsylvania. Jennifer also spent many years in real estate assisting clients to achieve their dream of home ownership when she decided to go back to school to fulfill her own dream of becoming a lawyer. Jennifer’s real estate experience melds seamlessly into her current profession as she is an effective negotiator and problem solver bringing people together to a mutually beneficial resolution. Jennifer has been an active member of her community; she served on her local zoning hearing board for nearly two decades and served two terms on the Widener University LEI advisory board.

Jennifer graduated Summa Cum Laude from Delaware Law School and was awarded a Wolcott Fellowship where she served as a Clerk to Chief Justice Collins J. Seitz, Jr. in the Delaware Supreme Court. During her tenure at Delaware Law School, Jennifer was a staff member on the prestigious Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

Jennifer was born and raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania and decided to relocate to Southwest Florida to pursue a career in law. She has a passion for cooking and loves bringing friends together to break bread. Jennifer enjoys the tranquil Florida beaches, a lively game of tennis and is learning to play golf.
